Elsa Cibrián Manzano is a familiar face on Avenida de las Redes, where every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday she sets up her family tamale cart.
She makes tamales filled with pork, chicken, and beef, with the help of her two sons. Her son Alan Ramses is by her side every day, helping her prepare, set up, and serve people who stop by.
It is a small family operation in the truest sense. Elsa cooks, her sons help on the customer service side, and her puppy stays close by, taking on the role of protector, in Elsa's own words.
